On Wednesday 9th February 2022 we were delighted to welcome the Environment Agency – Great Ouse Fenland Fisheries Team to Head Fen Lakes & Fisheries.
They came to assess and adjust fish stock levels in our Snake Lake. They netted the entire lake and checked the health of the fish, some of the larger specimens were moved to our other lakes to ensure the stock density is perfect.
As you can see from the photographs there are some superb fish in there! They told us that the fish are in fine condition and to keep up the good work. It’s great to get confirmation that our stocking plans are working well, and good news for everyone who fishes in our lakes.
